Orchard Lodge is a purpose built Scandinavian log cabin surrounded by fields and orchard, enjoying the unspoilt nature of the countryside and the wildlife around it.
The log cabin offers a high specification with double and twin bedrooms, both with en-suite (bathroom and shower-room). There is also a double sofa/bed in the lounge, allowing 6 people to stay in the log cabin comfortably.
The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge have been designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge, along with the usual amenities. The lounge sports a flat screen TV with Freeview, a DVD Player and Playstation. The dining room has Pine dining furniture (6 places), and opens out onto the covered, decked veranda.
The ¼ acre of orchard in which the log cabin is located, has a BBQ and garden furniture, for those who enjoy 'Alfresco'.
Linen is included and towels are available for a nominal charge. The log cabin is open for holiday rental all year round.
Energy
Central heating is provided throughout from the LPG combi boiler. The log cabin is built to be energy efficient and is well insulated throughout for year round comfort.
Our electricity is from Good Energy, a 100% renewable electricity supplier, who achieve this entirely from wind, small-scale hydro, wave, solar power and sustainable biomass.
